with dozens of commercial photographers across the country and without a doubt,
Rich McGrath is one of the best photographers I've had the opportunity to work
with. In addition to being highly organized, Rich went out of his way to ensure
that our shoot was captured exactly the way we had requested. Rich has a great

I worked with Rich this past week for a work-related photo -- magazine-quality,
for a print publication. His studio was immaculate, and he was fully
prepared when I arrived. I have been photographed a lot, and Rich is near the
top of my list for professionalism--he directs you well for the most attractive
shot, he knows how to light you so you like what you see in the finished
project, and he works quickly. He's a perfectionist, but he never makes it YOUR
problem. He does not keep you waiting, and he has a happy, easy-going
personality. :) Would happily work with him again!

Not only did Rich McGrath meet our expectations for the shoot, he exceeded them.
He’s a true professional: he communicates well and he delivers. And, he has a
“an eye” for capturing what will make an image compelling. Without hesitation,

Kim I recently had the privilege of working with Rich McGrath as he was hired to
photograph students at the Head Start Eastern Orange County in Newburgh, NY. I
knew upon meeting Rich and Siobhan that they’d be a great team. They arrived
early and guided our room set-up to ensure the most impactful photos.
Photographing pre-school aged children is almost as challenging as photographing
puppies – they’re cute, but never sit still. Without hesitation, Rich got down
on the floor to get the best angle for each shot. Rich worked seamlessly with
all parties involved with the event including the corporate client, the Head
Start teachers, students and the non-profit partner. He consulted the client
and non-profit partner to understand the necessary shots and was respectful in
asking the teachers for their assistance in guiding the students within the
classrooms. McGrath Photo produced high-quality images that illustrate our event
as it unfolded making the viewer feel as though they were there. Also, the
corporate client requested a quick turn-around on getting a few shots edited for
the press release and Rich delivered an handful of selects within a day.
I admire Rich & Siobhan’s professionalism. I would highly recommend McGrath
Photo and would definitely hire Rich for future commercial photography needs.

i first met richard when he did some photos for my job, after reviewing those
photos i knew i needed him to photograph my wedding day. he was just simply
amazing. Very prompt in returning a nervous brides email questions to! After
just receiving my pictures back from my big day i am more happy now than ever
that i choose McGrath Photo...he has the way of capturing those special moments

Dear Richard McGrath,
I wanted to express my deepest gratitude of the hard work you and your wife did
on Saturday, July 25th for my wedding. I have to say, several people have
called me and told me how impress they were with you. In fact, I was told that
they thought you never took a break and were surprised your finger was not
broken by the end of the evening. All I could do was laugh and thank them for
the wonderful compliments of my photographer.
I know I told you to take a break but never once did I see you actually sit. I
really don’t know how you pulled it off but every moment of the wedding had to
be captured by film.
I was so surprised with how you handled an “Italian Wedding.” I know many
photographers become overwhelmed and exhausted due to the demands. You never
once raised your voice or seemed annoyed with all the requests. In fact, you
were such a delight to work with that I can not stop praising you.

our input as far as staging the shots. On the day of the wedding he was right
there, on time and ready to go. He blended seemlessly into the day and was not
at all intrusive, allowing the bride and groom and the guestes to enjoy the day

On very short notice, only a few days, Richard McGrath graciously found time in
his busy schedule to accommodate my fiance and I and shoot our proposal and
engagement photos in the beautiful town of Cold Spring, NY. Rich took time to
make sure that we were able to get all of the shots that we wanted, and he came
up with some wonderful setups as well. The results were amazing. McGrath has a
keen eye and a true talent for capturing great memories. Our photos were
exceptional and made for the perfect engagement announcements and great
Christmas cards, as well as several portraits that we will cherish for years. We
had a great time working with such a friendly and professional artist. We truly
appreciated him helping us memorialize such a beautiful time in our lives, and
for the outstanding caliber of work he produced for us, the deal he generously
gave us was unbelievable, but honestly any rate such a great photographer would
ask would be worth every penny. When you want a special moment photographed to
enjoy for the rest of your life, you want to make certain that it is done
professionally and just the way you want. We highly recommend his work, and plan
